Welcome to VIVA CHURCH for VIVA SUNDAY as we gather together in person and online across three services. We’re kicking off a brand new message series, WISDOM IN THE NOISE, and we’re excited for what God is going to do in this next season. Our Lead Pastor, Frank Seixas, begins with a message titled THE FOUNDATION, helping us learn how to stay grounded and hear God clearly in a world full of distractions.

Through Proverbs 1 and other key scriptures, we’re reminded that wisdom has a purpose, it’s for everyone, and it’s built on a solid foundation. In a time where there are so many voices competing for our attention, God calls us to fix our eyes on Jesus and grow in discernment. True wisdom isn’t just information, it’s learning to trust God, walk in His ways, and build our lives on His truth.

Whether you’re joining us in person or watching online, we believe this message will help you navigate life with clarity and confidence. Come expectant and ready to receive as we continue to grow together and build strong foundations at VIVA.

Pastor Frank Seixas

I am Frank the co-lead Pastor and with my wife Chris are the founders of VIVA Church in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. I first came to Canada in 1987, following God’s call to permanently move from Brazil to Canada. In August 1992, I started VIVA Church. In January 1994, I married Chris, and in 1996, I attended the Nazarene Bible College of Canada. Later I was awarded Doctor of Divinity (DDiv) from Canada Christian College in 2022.

With a vision to reach people for Jesus, VIVA Church has grown to become a positive influence for the Kingdom, not only in Oshawa but also by planting churches internationally in countries like Cambodia and Uganda. Beyond our work at the local church, I (Frank) serve the body of Christ on the boards of other ministries and churches, and I am part of the Apostolic Ministry of MFI-Canada. I also travel to speak at conferences and many churches around the world.

Chris and I have dedicated more than 30 years to serving at VIVA Church, witnessing the salvation and growth of many. We have been blessed with two beautiful daughters: Leticia, our youngest, and Gabriella, our oldest, who is married to Matheus.
