WHAT ARE YOU HUNGRY FOR?
Welcome to VIVA SUNDAY at VIVA Church! We’re excited to have everyone join us in-person and online for an impactful service with our Student Ministries Pastor, Phillipe Jean. This Sunday, we dive into a powerful message titled “What Are You Hungry For?” based on John 12:1-6. Pastor Phillipe will challenge us to examine what we’re truly desiring in our lives and how that desire affects our relationship with God. He’ll encourage us to recognize that our spiritual hunger isn’t just about wanting God’s presence—it’s about being intentional in our pursuit of it.
In his message, Pastor Phillipe will share how we often desire the presence of God, but that desire must be paired with discipline and intentionality. Drawing a parallel with our everyday lives, Phillipe highlights the truth that desire without discipline is nothing more than wishful thinking. As he walks us through 1 John 2:15-17, we’ll be reminded of the importance of not allowing ourselves to be distracted by the fleeting pleasures of the world, but to cultivate a hunger for the things of God. This message will inspire you to actively pursue God’s presence, to remove the obstacles that hinder your relationship with Him, and to protect that hunger for the Lord.
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to shift your perspective and take practical steps in strengthening your relationship with God. It’s time to get real about our spiritual hunger and align our actions with our desires. If you’re ready to respond to God’s call and experience a deeper connection with His presence, this message is for you. Join us and let’s get hungry for more of God’s presence today!
