Welcome to VIVA CHURCH for VIVA SUNDAY. We’re so glad to have everyone joining us in person and online as we gather across three services for a powerful time of worship and the Word. This week, our Lead Pastor Frank Seixas continues the series THE PRINCIPLE OF FIRST with a message titled THE PRINCIPLE OF FIRST, calling us to align our lives with God’s order and put Him first in every area.

Through Scripture, we are reminded that everything belongs to God, and when the first is not given to Him, it affects more than we realize. The story of Joshua and Achan shows that this is not just a financial issue, it is a matter of lordship and the condition of our hearts. When we take what belongs to God or place Him second, it disrupts the blessing and impacts not only our lives but those around us. But when we return to putting God first, we step back into alignment with His presence, His favour, and His purpose.

  • I am Frank the co-lead Pastor and with my wife Chris are the founders of VIVA Church in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. I first came to Canada in 1987, following God’s call to permanently move from Brazil to Canada. In August 1992, I started VIVA Church. In January 1994, I married Chris, and in 1996, I graduated from the Nazarene Bible College of Canada. Later I was awarded Doctor of Divinity (DDiv) from Canada Christian College in 2022.

    With a vision to reach people for Jesus, VIVA Church has grown to become a positive influence for the Kingdom, not only in Oshawa but also by planting churches internationally in countries like Cambodia and Uganda. Beyond our work at the local church, I (Frank) serve the body of Christ on the boards of other ministries and churches, and I am part of the Apostolic Ministry of MFI-Canada. I also travel to speak at conferences and many churches around the world.

    Chris and I have dedicated more than 30 years to serving at VIVA Church, witnessing the salvation and growth of many. We have been blessed with two beautiful daughters: Leticia, our youngest, and Gabriella, our oldest, who is married to Matheus.
