POSSESSING THE PROMISE

Welcome to VIVA SUNDAY at VIVA CHURCH! Today, our Worship Director, JV Felicio, brings a powerful message titled Possessing the Promise, based on 2 Corinthians 5:17. This verse reminds us that in Christ, we are a new creation—the old has gone, and the new has come. Just like the Israelites were called to possess the Promised Land, God invites us to step into the promises He has set before us. This message challenges us to embrace the transformation God is working in us and to trust Him as we journey forward, letting go of the past and stepping into the new.

Many of us hold on tightly to what’s familiar, but true faith requires us to let go of our comfort zones and embrace God’s plans. Like the Israelites in the wilderness, we may face obstacles, doubts, and fears, but God remains faithful to His promises. He is constantly doing new things in our lives, and by trusting Him, we can move forward with confidence, knowing that His plans are greater than anything we can imagine.
