Welcome to VIVA CHURCH’s special kids presentation Sunday service as we embark on the VIVA CHRISTMAS season with our lead pastor, Frank Seixas! In this heartwarming message titled “No more gloom,” Pastor Frank will guide us through the scriptures, exploring Luke 2:11 and Isaiah 9:1-7 and be grateful knowing that”Jesus came to dissipate darkness”.

This is a prophetic passage that foretells the coming of a great light and a child who will bring peace and justice. It begins with the promise of liberation for the people walking in darkness, and it culminates with the famous verse in Isaiah 9:6, which declares, “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” These verses are often seen as a foreshadowing of the birth of Jesus Christ and convey the hope and promise of a divine and peaceful ruler.

In this Christmas season, let’s reflect on the timeless truths embedded in the heart of Bethlehem. Pastor Frank Seixas

I am Frank the co-lead Pastor and with my wife Chris are the founders of VIVA Church in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. I first came to Canada in 1987, following God’s call to permanently move from Brazil to Canada. In August 1992, I started VIVA Church. In January 1994, I married Chris, and in 1996, I graduated from the Nazarene Bible College of Canada. Later I was awarded Doctor of Divinity (DDiv) from Canada Christian College in 2022.

With a vision to reach people for Jesus, VIVA Church has grown to become a positive influence for the Kingdom, not only in Oshawa but also by planting churches internationally in countries like Cambodia and Uganda. Beyond our work at the local church, I (Frank) serve the body of Christ on the boards of other ministries and churches, and I am part of the Apostolic Ministry of MFI-Canada. I also travel to speak at conferences and many churches around the world.

Chris and I have dedicated more than 30 years to serving at VIVA Church, witnessing the salvation and growth of many. We have been blessed with two beautiful daughters: Leticia, our youngest, and Gabriella, our oldest, who is married to Matheus.
