NEW YEARS EVE 2023: HOW TO END AND HOW TO START

Step into the New Year with VIVA CHURCH as we gather for a special New Year’s Eve service with our lead pastor, Frank Seixas. As we bid farewell to this year and welcome the new one, Pastor Frank will deliver an empowering message titled “HOW TO END AND HOW TO START.”

Drawing from Ephesians 3:20, the message will unravel the powerful keys to finishing and commencing seasons victoriously. Using the acronym “MORE,” Pastor Frank will inspire us to Maintain Gratitude, foster Optimism, and remain Resilient, citing scriptures like James 1:2-4 and Romans 5:3-4, encouraging us to find joy even in trials while nurturing perseverance and hope.

The second part focuses on Expectation, urging us to anticipate God’s promises with confidence. Quoting scriptures such as Proverbs 23:18, Jeremiah 29:11, Psalm 62:5, and Romans 15:13, Pastor Frank will guide us in placing our trust in God’s future plans and drawing hope from Him.

Concluding with the hopeful words of Isaiah 43b, declaring newness and the promise of divine guidance, this New Year’s Eve service at VIVA CHURCH promises to be an uplifting and empowering experience, setting the tone for a new beginning filled with gratitude, optimism, resilience, and an expectant heart for the future. Join us as we step into the new year with hope and purpose!

  • Pastor Frank Seixas

    I am Frank the co-lead Pastor and with my wife Chris are the founders of VIVA Church in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. I first came to Canada in 1987, following God’s call to permanently move from Brazil to Canada. In August 1992, I started VIVA Church. In January 1994, I married Chris, and in 1996, I graduated from the Nazarene Bible College of Canada. Later I was awarded Doctor of Divinity (DDiv) from Canada Christian College in 2022.

    With a vision to reach people for Jesus, VIVA Church has grown to become a positive influence for the Kingdom, not only in Oshawa but also by planting churches internationally in countries like Cambodia and Uganda. Beyond our work at the local church, I (Frank) serve the body of Christ on the boards of other ministries and churches, and I am part of the Apostolic Ministry of MFI-Canada. I also travel to speak at conferences and many churches around the world.

    Chris and I have dedicated more than 30 years to serving at VIVA Church, witnessing the salvation and growth of many. We have been blessed with two beautiful daughters: Leticia, our youngest, and Gabriella, our oldest, who is married to Matheus.
