We’re kicking off the very first Sunday of 2026 together at VIVA CHURCH, and there’s no better way to begin the year than gathered in God’s presence across three services with our Lead Pastor, Frank Seixas. Today’s message is titled FOCUS, and it calls us to start this new year with our eyes fixed firmly on Jesus. As we step into a fresh season, we’re aligning our hearts, priorities, and direction around what truly matters most.

This message reminds us that life is too short and eternity too real to live distracted. Scripture invites us to awaken, walk wisely, and make the most of every moment. We focus on Jesus because He is our center. We focus on people because souls matter to God. We focus on the Word because it strengthens our faith. And we focus our lives with expectancy, living ready for the return of Jesus. When we remove distractions and realign our hearts, we step into purpose, clarity, and renewed conviction.

Join us this Sunday across three services (8:45 am, 10:30 am, & 12:15 pm) at VIVA CHURCH as we worship, learn, and align our hearts with God’s mission.   • Pastor Frank Seixas

    I am Frank the co-lead Pastor and with my wife Chris are the founders of VIVA Church in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. I first came to Canada in 1987, following God’s call to permanently move from Brazil to Canada. In August 1992, I started VIVA Church. In January 1994, I married Chris, and in 1996, I graduated from the Nazarene Bible College of Canada. Later I was awarded Doctor of Divinity (DDiv) from Canada Christian College in 2022.

    With a vision to reach people for Jesus, VIVA Church has grown to become a positive influence for the Kingdom, not only in Oshawa but also by planting churches internationally in countries like Cambodia and Uganda. Beyond our work at the local church, I (Frank) serve the body of Christ on the boards of other ministries and churches, and I am part of the Apostolic Ministry of MFI-Canada. I also travel to speak at conferences and many churches around the world.

    Chris and I have dedicated more than 30 years to serving at VIVA Church, witnessing the salvation and growth of many. We have been blessed with two beautiful daughters: Leticia, our youngest, and Gabriella, our oldest, who is married to Matheus.
