GROWING PAINS: THE CHALLENGES TO GROWTH

WELCOME TO VIVA CHURCH! Join us for a powerful Sunday service at VIVA Church with our Students Pastor, Phil Jean, as he continues the inspiring message series “Unstoppable: The Journey of Faith.” This week’s message is titled “Growing Pains: The Challenges to Growth,” and it delves into the parable of the lost sheep from Luke 15:3-7, exploring the significance of God’s heart for the lost, broken, and hurting people.

As our community continues to grow and lives are being transformed, we are faced with opportunities and challenges. Pastor Phil will share how our response to God’s work in our midst can make a significant impact on our journey of faith and the growth of our church. In this message, he will speak about the necessity of change and how it’s a vital part of life, emphasizing the need for readiness and excitement for the changes that come with growth. Pastor Phil will also share five essential things that we need to be willing to do to ensure we don’t stifle our growth.

So, join us for a thought-provoking and inspiring message as we discover the path ahead and how we can partner with God to maximize our impact on our community and region. Don’t miss this powerful service filled with worship, enlightenment, and a deeper understanding of God’s intentions for us in this next season. Mark your calendars, invite your loved ones, and be a part of this amazing journey of faith and growth. See you there!

  • Pastor Phil Jean

Phil and Fran are a dynamic duo dedicated to serving and uplifting the youth at VIVA Church. Phil’s journey of faith began after a radical encounter with Jesus in 2002, which saved him from the crushing weight of depression and suicidal thoughts. His personal experience fuels his passion for helping young people overcome similar struggles, exposing the lies of the enemy, and sharing the message that life is worth living, they have purpose, and they are loved by Jesus with an everlasting love. Phil has been faithfully serving at VIVA Church since 2008, both as the Student Ministry Pastor and the Academics Director for VIVA College.
