A JOURNEY OF FAITH: EVERYONE MATTERS

Join us this VIVA SUNDAY as our Lead Pastor, Frank Seixas, delivers an inspiring message titled “A Journey of Faith: Everyone Matters.” Drawing from 1 Corinthians 12:12-27, Pastor Frank will delve into the profound truth that we are all integral parts of the body of Christ. Whether we feel insignificant or overwhelmed, each one of us has a unique and essential role to play in God’s grand design. Through this message, we will be reminded that in God’s family, no one is redundant, and every contribution is valuable.

In his sermon, Pastor Frank will address the misconceptions that can arise within the church community. She will challenge the thoughts of those who feel they can’t contribute (“I can’t do anything!”) by emphasizing that every member is divinely placed and purposefully crafted to fulfill a specific function, as highlighted in Ephesians 2:10. She will also speak to those who feel burdened with doing everything (“I have to do everything!”) by illustrating the importance of honoring and valuing every part of the body, as God Himself has arranged them to work together harmoniously.

Finally, Pastor Frank will confront the notion of self-sufficiency (“I don’t need anybody else.”) by stressing the interconnectedness of the body of Christ. As Romans 12:15 and the latter verses of 1 Corinthians 12 reveal, we are called to rejoice with those who rejoice and mourn with those who mourn, sharing in each other’s lives and experiences.
