SERVING GOD
Welcome to VIVA SUNDAY at VIVA CHURCH! Join us this Sunday as our Lead Pastor, Frank Seixas, delivers a compelling message titled Serving God, based on Isaiah 6:1-8 and Mark 10:45. Together, we’ll explore Isaiah’s awe-inspiring encounter with God and how it transformed his life and calling. In the presence of God’s holiness, Isaiah experienced both conviction and cleansing, leading him to boldly answer God’s call: “Here am I! Send me.” This message will challenge us to reflect on how we can step into a life of service, just as Isaiah and Jesus modeled for us.
In Serving God, we’ll see that Isaiah served out of three key realizations: an appreciation for God’s grace, a recognition of the world’s need, and a deep commitment to God’s will. Just as Isaiah’s lips were touched by the live coal and his sins were forgiven, we are reminded of the cleansing and transformative power of God’s love. From this place of gratitude, we are called to serve others selflessly, following the example of Jesus, who “did not come to be served, but to serve” (Mark 10:45). Service is not just an action—it’s a response to God’s love and a fulfillment of His purpose for our lives.
As we gather for worship, let us be inspired by Isaiah’s willingness to go where God sent him and Jesus’ ultimate act of servanthood in giving His life for us. Let this message spark a fresh desire in our hearts to say, “Here am I, send me,” and to serve with humility, faithfulness, and joy. Don’t miss this powerful time of worship and teaching as we discover how to embrace God’s call to serve in our lives. Join us in person or online, and let’s grow together in faith!
