WELCOME TO VIVA SUNDAY! Join us at VIVA CHURCH for an incredible time of worship and the Word as we welcome our special guest speaker, Pastor Gary Heyes from Living Hope Church in Hamilton! Pastor Gary will deliver a powerful message titled “GOD’S PERSPECTIVE,” where we’ll dive deep into how God desires to open our eyes to see the spiritual realm, understand His calling for our lives, and step into His purpose. Through passages like 2 Kings 6:14-17, 1 Corinthians 1:26-27, and Ephesians 1:18-19, we’ll learn to close the gap between where we are now and where God wants us to be.

The message will challenge us to recognize that God’s perspective is far greater than our human understanding. Just as Elisha prayed for his servant’s eyes to be opened to the heavenly armies surrounding them (2 Kings 6), God wants to open our eyes to see His power, provision, and purpose at work in our lives. Pastor Gary will also remind us of the truth found in 1 Corinthians 1—that God often chooses the unlikely and the overlooked to fulfill His divine plans. By aligning our perspective with His, we can embrace the hope, calling, and inheritance He has for us, as described in Ephesians 1:18-19.

    They have been married since 1985 and have one married son Joshua, daughter-in-law Melissa and grandson Ethan.
