EXPECTATION

The VIVA CHRISTMAS series begins today, and we could not be more excited to celebrate this season together at VIVA CHURCH. We are so glad to have everyone with us in person as our Lead Pastor, Frank Seixas, kicks off the series with a powerful message titled EXPECTATION. Just like the wise men who followed the star in anticipation of meeting the King, this message reminds us that expectation moves us toward Jesus and positions our hearts for a real encounter with Him. With three services happening, there is room for everyone to come and be part of what God is doing.

Through the Christmas story in Matthew 2, we are reminded that expectation brings focus, creates movement, and leads us into worship. The wise men traveled, followed, rejoiced, and ultimately knelt in worship and generosity. This message will challenge us to lift our eyes beyond distractions, fix our hearts on Jesus, and step into the wonder of the season with fresh faith and bold trust in what God is about to do.

Pastor Frank Seixas

I am Frank the co-lead Pastor and with my wife Chris are the founders of VIVA Church in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. I first came to Canada in 1987, following God’s call to permanently move from Brazil to Canada. In August 1992, I started VIVA Church. In January 1994, I married Chris, and in 1996, I graduated from the Nazarene Bible College of Canada. Later I was awarded Doctor of Divinity (DDiv) from Canada Christian College in 2022.

With a vision to reach people for Jesus, VIVA Church has grown to become a positive influence for the Kingdom, not only in Oshawa but also by planting churches internationally in countries like Cambodia and Uganda. Beyond our work at the local church, I (Frank) serve the body of Christ on the boards of other ministries and churches, and I am part of the Apostolic Ministry of MFI-Canada. I also travel to speak at conferences and many churches around the world.

Chris and I have dedicated more than 30 years to serving at VIVA Church, witnessing the salvation and growth of many. We have been blessed with two beautiful daughters: Leticia, our youngest, and Gabriella, our oldest, who is married to Matheus.
