HOW TO MISS GOD IN THREE EASY STEPS

by | Mar 2, 2025 | Kingdom Culture

Welcome to VIVA SUNDAY! 🎉 We’re so glad to have you with us for another powerful time of worship and the Word. Whether you’re joining us online or celebrating in-person, we believe God has something incredible in store for you today. This week, we’re hearing from our Student Ministries Pastor, Phillipe Jean, as he unpacks a message that will challenge the way we approach our faith: “How to Miss God in 3 Easy Steps.” You don’t want to miss this!

Have you ever been let down by expectations? Maybe you were told something would be life-changing, only to find it was just… okay? The same thing can happen in our spiritual walk. If we’re not careful, our pride, offence, and rigid expectations can cause us to miss what God is actually doing in our lives. In today’s message, Pastor Phillipe takes us through the story of Naaman (2 Kings 5:9-14) and reveals how we can make sure we don’t fall into these traps—because God is always moving, even when it doesn’t look the way we expect!

Make sure to like, comment, and share this message with someone who needs to hear it! Let us know where you’re watching from, and if this is your first time, we’d love to connect with you. Don’t forget to subscribe and turn on notifications so you never miss a VIVA moment. 🙌🔥

Phil’s journey of faith began after a radical encounter with Jesus in 2002, which saved him from the crushing weight of depression and suicidal thoughts. His personal experience fuels his passion for helping young people overcome similar struggles, exposing the lies of the enemy, and sharing the message that life is worth living, they have purpose, and they are loved by Jesus with an everlasting love. Phil has been faithfully serving at VIVA Church since 2008, both as the Student Ministry Pastor and the Academics Director for VIVA College.
