7 EXPECTATIONS WE SHOULD HAVE FROM GOD

Welcome to Viva Church’s live stream Sunday service! Join us as Lead Pastor Frank Seixas continues the powerful message series, “Mobilize to Expect,” focusing on Matthew 9:20-22. In this compelling message titled “7 Expectations We Should Have from God,” Pastor Frank will guide us through the profound lessons we can learn from the story of the woman healed by touching Jesus’ garment.

Based on Matthew 9:20-22 (NKJV), we see a woman with unwavering faith who believed that touching the hem of Jesus’ garment would make her well. Her story reminds us to have great expectations from God, and Pastor Frank will explore seven key expectations: Presence, Peace, Protection, Promises, Power, Promotion, and Provisions. Through scripture, we’ll discover how these promises manifest in our lives and how we can confidently seek and receive God’s abundant blessings.

Prepare your hearts to be inspired and encouraged as we delve into scriptures like Psalm 118:20, John 14:27, Exodus 23:22, and Jeremiah 29:11. Let’s mobilize our faith and expect great things from our mighty God! Don’t miss this transformative message that will elevate your faith and deepen your understanding of God’s profound promises for your life.

  • Pastor Frank Seixas

I am Frank the co-lead Pastor and with my wife Chris are the founders of VIVA Church in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. I first came to Canada in 1987, following God’s call to permanently move from Brazil to Canada. In August 1992, I started VIVA Church. In January 1994, I married Chris, and in 1996, I graduated from the Nazarene Bible College of Canada. Later I was awarded Doctor of Divinity (DDiv) from Canada Christian College in 2022.

With a vision to reach people for Jesus, VIVA Church has grown to become a positive influence for the Kingdom, not only in Oshawa but also by planting churches internationally in countries like Cambodia and Uganda. Beyond our work at the local church, I (Frank) serve the body of Christ on the boards of other ministries and churches, and I am part of the Apostolic Ministry of MFI-Canada. I also travel to speak at conferences and many churches around the world.

Chris and I have dedicated more than 30 years to serving at VIVA Church, witnessing the salvation and growth of many. We have been blessed with two beautiful daughters: Leticia, our youngest, and Gabriella, our oldest, who is married to Matheus.
